  1. Hope you’re having a nice weekend Marjorie!
I vaguely remember you talking about Bank of Scotland, HSBC, Lloyds, RBS last year and their outlooks.
Pretty sure current events are mirroring what you said/saw. Is my memory correct re this?
    Best regards Henry

  2. Marjorie, I am hoping that Andrea Leadsom will not be the next PM. She has just commented on the fact that Theresa May doesn’t have children which seems particularly nasty but there is something about her demeanour that doesn’t fill me with hope. Be grateful if you have reassurances!

  3. Hello Marjorie,
Would you consider having a look at New Zealand’s chart. The country was an early enthusiastic adopter of neo-liberalism. Chickens coming home now with huge numbers of homeless people, and house prices in Auckland out of control at one million dollars the norm. Corruption is rising, educational uptake falling, environmental degradation. If you are able to take a look, that would be much appreciated, and/or if you know of any NZ astrologers who are interested in political astrology I would be pleased to learn of them. Many thanks, Joan

  4. Hello Marjorie,
I read last night that the United States will have its 1st Solar Eclipse over the Continent on August 21 2017,
its apparently the 1st 1 since 1979 over the Continent (know there was 1 over Hawaii in 1991!)
Does this portend anything? Best wishes Whitney

    • Whitney, There’s mixed evidence as to whether Eclipses have an effect on the regions which they pass over. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. The 1979 one in late Feb in Pisces over the USA had little around the exact date, though their worst nuclear accident came at Three Mile Island, PA, a month later.
The 21 Aug 2017 Eclipse in late Leo is in a Fire Grand Trine to Uranus trine Saturn in Sagittarius so could be relatively positive. However the Sun is conjunct Mars, now that I look, which is also trine Saturn Uranus which is disruptive/explosive.
It’s in a Saros series that usually brings pleasant surprises, joy, happiness, a lucky win, so not catastrophic (Bernadette Brady, The Eagle and the Lark).
Tr Uranus is by that time starting to square the USA Pluto so there will be a fair amount of unrest or radical change going on in the USA.

  5. Good morning Marjorie from glorious Boise, Idaho!
I was wondering what are your thoughts on Outer Planet Transits? For example, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto
    to MidHeaven/Sun/Rising Signs?
And in advance thank you if you answer, all the best Michael

    • Michael, Outer planet transits are always the most powerful in effect especially when hitting the axis of the chart or the Sun, and frankly any of the inner planets. Saturn brings delays but can also prune out the past, dump excess baggage and clear the way for better. Uranus acts like a lightning bolt to rattle the bars of an individual’s cage and get rid of old restrictions and compromises. Neptune can be spiritual and creative though most often it feels dissolving and undermining. It softens defences which makes people feel insecure and rather vague/low energy for a while. Pluto transits are heavy and very slow, pulling away what no longer works and making everything feel bleak/stuck for several months or longer, before a new phase begins on the far side.
Midheaven is career or life’s direction. Ascendant is the image you project or how other people see you. The Sun is the core of the identity.

  6. So many people are depressed and negative about Brexit. Even if it’s not what you wanted and you’re worried, I feel we should look forward and do our best to be positive. Nothing is all bad and we need to make it as positive as possible for the long run.

    • Rose, I applaud the sentiment in general and since it appears to be a done deal, there’s nowt else to do but buckle down. I just think it’s shaken the country to the core and everyone is seriously discombobulated. The finance commentators are hysterical as is the banking/finance industry with good reason. Latest figures are 80,000 jobs may go to Frankfurt or Paris and even if the number crunchers relocate and don’t go on the unemployed list, it means they won’t be spending money/paying taxes in the UK, so the economy suffers. The building industry could also be badly hit. It’s a bit like Iraq – lies, lies, and then catastrophe. It’ll have to be coped with but it won’t be pretty for a few years.
