  1. Meg Ryan just announced her engagement to John Mellencamp. Maybe you could take a look a her? She’s been out of the public eye, or at least in comparison to her early America’s sweetheart roles, but appears to be producing so maybe more behind the scenes.

  2. Marjorie,

Here in Florida, we are facing 3 massive automatic and manual recounts for the U.S. Senate, Florida Governor, and the Florida Agricultural Commissioner races because they are so close. The national media has been focusing heavily on Florida lately and they are saying what’s going on right now is worse than the 2000 Presidential Election – where we had to have a massive recount here in Florida between Al Gore and George W. Bush because it was so close.

Just like in 2000, everything appears to be coming down to Broward County again. Apparently, the ballot design in Broward caused a lot of undervotes for the U.S. Senate race (something about them having the U.S. Senate race on the last page). There is also speculation that there was some irregularities in the voting machines there too (I’m not sure if that has been proven or dis-proven yet).

Broward County’s Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes (who was picked by former Governor Jeb Bush) is being criticized by both sides. Democrats (my party) are criticizing her for here incompetence and the Republicans are criticizing her (some even held protests in front of her office chanting “lock her up”) because they think she’s trying to “steal” the election of the Republicans (which is ridiculous considering Snipes is likely a Republican herself).

Andrew Gillum originally conceded to Ron DeSantis on election night – and the votes haven’t even finished being counted. Gillum eventually retracted his concession and hired lawyers. Gillum said he wants all the votes to be counted first.

Rick Scott tried to declare “victory” on Election night – again, before the final votes. Now, Rick Scott is claiming “liberals” are trying to “steal” his victory. This has even promoted Marco Rubio and Donald Trump to get involved – all three of them are spreading conspiracy theories, etc.

Bill Nelson has refused to concede and has hired his own lawyers. Nelson is demanding that thousands of absentee and provisional ballots that were rejected for trivial reasons be counted. There is also a box of ballots that hasn’t been counted because of that “bomb scare” from the MAGA bomber a few weeks ago.

As of right now, Republican Rick Scott is ahead of Democratic incumbent Bill Nelson by 12,562 votes and Republican Ron DeSantis is ahead of Democrat Andrew Gillum by over 30,000 votes.

Gillum’s campaign isn’t sure of they can overcome 30,000 votes….but they think Bill Nelson might still have a chance to overcome Rick Scott’s lead. Mind you, there are still overseas expat votes (which tend to heavily favor Democrats), the overseas military votes (which tend to favor Republicans), and thousands of provisional ballots (which tend to heavily favor Democrats) all left to be counted. Also, The manual recount can determine of their were machine errors or undervotes due to ballot design.

Anyway, I was wondering if you had any astrological insights or thoughts as to what’s going on with the election situation here in Florida. Which political party do you see coming out more victorious in this whole mess?

    • And it gets worse. Rick Scott is now trying to have lawful votes thrown out and he’s also threatening to seize voting equipment in order to declare himself the winner.
