  1. Hello Marjorie

I’ve just been reading in the Sunday papers that the rumoured new political party expected to be launched here next year may be fronted by David Milliband, who will be returning from America. I vaguely recall that he moved there originally because his American wife couldn’t really settle over here and there were considerations regarding the couple’s children. What do his charts indicate?

  2. What I am trying to say is that his earlier highly publicised activities against the ERM etc acted as the seedbed for later. I don’t want in any way to sound as if this justifies the antisemitic, racist or extreme right wing views or actions against him, all of which I despise and reject.

Clearly he was not the only one having a punt against £stg or French franc, but he was the one that was named.

    • That’s a very good question. I’m surprised more people haven’t asked about Beto O’Rourke…considering all of the attention he’s been given lately. I’m surprised that Beto O’Rourke is so competitive – given that he is a progressive running in such a conservative state like Texas.

Anyway, I hope Beto O’Rourke defeats Ted Cruz tonight – Ted Cruz really needs to go.

  3. George Soros was a key, and publicised, figure in taking Britain out of the ERM. He (plus whoever) then moved onto the French franc, which at great expense, was kept at an artificially high rate for a long period to withstand leaving the ERM (forerunner of the euro).
After this he became known for his liberalism and philothranthropic works, which are considerable.
His ability to affect national currencies may have been the foundation of subsequent ill feeling. I didn’t know he was Jewish. I don’t care what he is. I am not antisemitic, racist or right wing. I totally abhor them all, but I admit to resenting any individual’s ability to influence national currencies in this way. Too much money. Too much power. All unaccountable.

  4. Marjorie,

Just one last quick question regarding the U.S. Senate race here in Florida – which is between or incumbent Democratic Senator Bill Nelson and Republican Rick Scott.

I noticed when using the birth time I found for Rick Scott (which was 4:30 AM – it could very well be a rectified birth time someone posted, that hasn’t been confirmed), Jupiter goes into Sagittarius on Thursday, November 08, 2018 (just two days after the midterm elections). I was told Jupiter is a fast-moving planet. Could this quickly affect Rick Scott’s sun-mercury conjunction? If so, does this mean Scott would win the election?

I really hope Rick Scott does NOT win the election. He’s been one of the worst governors we’ve ever had – and he was one of Trump’s earliest supporters too.

Anyway, this is just a quick question…so any interpretation you can provide here in the comments section would be greatly appreciated.

    • Nothing much to add to March 4 2018 post on Scott. Even with a different birth time he is looking most unhappy ahead tho’ nothing much on election day itself.
