  1. Hi Marjorie

What’s going on with your Questions & Comments box? It’s not visible on your home page and not even on first page when you click on News. Are you hiding it? lol

    Best regards

  2. Hi Marjorie, I just read that the American actor Jon Hamm, famous for playing Don Draper in Mad Men, has recently broken up with his partner of 18 years and recently went through rehab for alcohol addiction (today’s NY Times). Since these are such major changes, I of course wondered about the astrological aspects involved. Care to take a look?

  3. Trump is at it again; after the London train incident, he demands that the internet be severed…along with banning more people and countries from entering the US.

Could you hv a look at “the internet” and Trump?

Everyone knows that Al Gore invented the net, so a birthdate for the internet should be easy to find (just kidding!).

  4. Hi Marjorie,
Thank you re MPW look at him by the way!
See that Blade Runner 2049 the sequel to Blade Runner is being released on 6 October next, stars Harrison Ford again and
Ryan Gosling and directed by Denis Villeneuve born 3 October 1967 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada
who directed the both excellent Sicario/Arrival in recent years. Ridley Scott produces instead this time.
Would you have any thoughts as to its release? Will its impact be as influential as the 1982 original?
Thank you if you look into and have a nice weekend!

Is the pioneering work of French astrologer Michel Gauquelin who studied planets and houses in particular and how they affected career choices still held in high regard? From memory he showed mars prominently in the charts of soldiers, athletes etc, moon with writers and so on through other planets

    • Hi Alex, Gauquelin published his book in 1955, pre-internet and pre-personal computers. Now that statistics can be gathered and run en masse, his conclusions were found to be off. Also, studies of births after 1950 do not support his theory, probably due to better record keeping. Gauquelin first proposed his theory to supplant traditional astrology, but didn’t get far with that line of thought.

An article explaining decades and decades of research into the Gauquelin effect: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_effect

  6. Hi Marjorie

J Lo has been gushing about her relationship with ARod so I am wondering if it is 3rd time lucky for her? (It is 3rd right?)

Thanks as always for your dedication to this site and keeping us informed

    All the best J

  7. Marjorie: Yesterday Bernie Sanders formally introduced his Medicare-For-All plan. Any chance of it getting legs? Also, you mentioned in an earlier post that you “don’t warm to Sanders’ chart.” Can you elaborate?

  8. Had a reading from Marjorie about how the Capricorn transit of Pluto/Saturn were going to aspect my chart. Been a hot topic lately, and I wanted to get “up close and personal”. Marjorie’s email reading gave me a new perpective, and made me think about the future in ways that hadn’t even occurred to me. She’s so clever, in ways that go beyond astrology. Thank you Marjorie!

    • Thank you kindly. I’m a great believer in using the influences (and indeed the chart) to see how to get the best out of them. If it’s going to be a stressful phase then seek out a context in which you soak up the influences constructively, rather than being pummelled by them. Good luck.
