December 2016

After a lacklustre start, the month zips up with more enthusiasm and then runs into a few delays and setbacks. The adventurous Sagittarius Sun will be undermined by Neptune, and restricted by Saturn, but given a morale boost by Jupiter. So the first half will be one step forward and one back. Luckily Mercury in practical Capricorn will sort out a few tangles. And a friendly Venus in Aquarius after the 7th will make parties and leisure activities fun. Taking the rough with the smooth will help. After mid month Mars moves out of outspoken Aquarius into creative and sensitive Pisces till late January. This will foster artistic activities especially physical ones like dance, and be less confrontational than of late.

The Capricorn Sun after the 21st for four weeks is renowned for being a workaholic but it also has an earthy, super-indulgent streak which will also want out to play. Two notable influences mark the final days. One is Saturn trine Uranus which suggests that new plans can be put into gear which marry the best of the old with the best of the new. No tremendous upheavals, just steady progress of a constructive variety. And Jupiter opposing Uranus which is lively, lucky, risk-taking and usually relieves tension.
